GWAS is a non-profit making organisation.
Annual membership is £1 per person per year. There is usually also a raffle which helps to generate a small amount of income.
In addition to covering the cost of the wines being sampled, other costs of hosting events include:
- Bread, cheese, nibbles etc..
- Hire of the Village Hall
- Village Hall cleaning
- Raffle prizes
Other miscellaneous costs such as banqueting roll, glasses etc.
As at May 2014, the GWAS Bank Account has a small credit. If this is the case at the end of each year, we like to make a donation to a local Charity.
